On January 11, 2026, Kalumamis Elementary School conducted a large-scale learning activity on new teaching technologies through Digital Teaching in Classroom Management.
The activity was held at the YUMIES Function Hall, Mango Grove, Talayan, Maguindanao del Sur, BARMM, and was led by Ma’am Alibai Binitaka Diagoni, School Head of Kalumamis Elementary School, in coordination with Sir Sadam T. Ulama of the CBCS Community Development.
According to the resource person, Rahima Guiamadil, “Technology-based classroom management saves time, makes all tasks easier, and reduces expenses since fewer school supplies need to be purchased.”
Kalumamis Elementary School, one of the schools in the Guindulungan District, was selected as a pilot site for a new Strategy of Teaching Using Digital Classroom Management. This initiative is expected by the CBCS – Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Society to help reduce the number of Bangsamoro children who are at risk of dropping out of school.
According to Sir Rahib Puas, Administrative Assistant of the Ministry of Science and Technology, “The digital teaching method also makes learning more exciting for students, which helps reduce the number of at-risk learners and dropouts, because today’s youth are already living in a digital world.”
The school head also committed to providing teachers with training on digital teaching using digital classrooms. She further stated that workshops on digital teaching strategies will be conducted, a plan that was fully supported by Sir Sadam T. Ulama of the Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Society – Community Development.
